With the top spots of the championships sealed, there's still all to race for the rest of the drivers and teams, so expect an exciting race at the fan favourite circuit!
We also have some different faces in FP1 again this week: Pietro Fittipaldi driving for Haas, Jack Doohan driving for Alpine, Nyck De Vries driving for Mercedes, Logan Sargeant driving for Williams, and Liam Lawson driving for AlphaTauri.

Pre-race Penalites
Not as many penalties this week, with only Magnussen and Stroll (as of yet) set to take any.
Kevin Magnussen will take a 5 place grid penalty for taking a sixth of three allocated internal combustion engines (ICE).
Stroll is relegated to the back of the grid due to a three-place grid drop for causing a collision last week in Austin.

Lap 1 - Verstappen gets away well and maintains his P1 position
Lap 14 - Gasly handed a 5 second penalty for pushing Stroll off of the track
Lap 51 - Contact between Ricciardo and Tsunoda. The stewards are looking into this, and Ricciardo is given a 10 second penalty for causing a collision
Lap 62 - Ricciardo is not letting the penalty get to him, instead he has his sights set on the two Alpines ahead of him and succesfully overtakes
Lap 65 - Alonso's engine fails him, he is forced to retire and a VSC is deployed
Lap 71 - Another seemingly easy victory for Verstappen as he wins with a 15 second lead on Hamilton

Any Other News
Red Bull issued with a financial and sporting sanction for breaching the 2021 budget cap. They are fined $7,000,000 and have a 10% reduction in their allocated Restricted Wind Tunnel Testing and Restricted Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) limits.
Aston Martin issued with a financial sanction for procedural breach. They are fined $450,000.
Max Verstappen has now broken the record for most race wins in one season. He beats the tie currently held between Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, with 14 race wins in one season.
